WHAT IS TÊTE-À-TÊTE ?
Tête-à-tête is the new board game that will be on everyone’s lips this year in the francophone community. Inspired by the Cranium game, the board game will entertain everyone around you with its many questions and challenges !
The CJFCB is proud to collaborate with Jeux WASA to make this major project a reality ! The Quebec organization, a specialist in the field, will accompany the members of the Tête-à-tête committee in the creation of a 100% Franco-Colombian game !
WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROJECT?
- To develop an entertaining board game that represents the identity of young French-speaking Colombians
- Create a local cultural referent
- Create a legacy for the community
WHERE DID THIS IDEA COME FROM?
The idea to create a 100% Franco-Colombian board game initially came from members of the 2019-2020 Réseau jeunesse. Initially, Tête-à-tête was to be a full-scale board game. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the event, which was supposed to bring together youth from across the province, was cancelled. As a result, the idea of a board game to replace the face-to-face event took shape and members began working on the design of the game.
Thanks to significant financial support from the Secrétariat du Québec aux relations canadiennes (SQRC), the project can finally come to life! The Tête-à-tête committee, which was formed in mid-December 2020, will take over from the Réseau jeunesse. Keep your eyes open, as the launch of the game is scheduled for late spring!
WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TOO?
Stay tuned, because great opportunities to get involved on a small scale in the design of the game will be offered to you ! Whether it’s to create questions and challenges or to work on the graphic design, your presence will be greatly appreciated !
