WHAT IS LES JEUXFC ?
The Jeux de la francophonie Canadienne (JeuxFC) is a national event that brings together French-speaking youth from every province and territory.
Over the course of a week, these young people will compete in sports, arts and leadership disciplines and try to win medals for their delegation. Beyond the competitions, the young people have the chance to take part in training sessions with experts in their discipline, social activities to discover the host city and meet French-speaking young people from across Canada.
This event showcases the diversity of Canada's French-speaking youth, and offers a unique and memorable experience for all participants!

Throwback ON THE 8TH EDITION
The 8th edition of the JeuxFC took place from July 11 to 20, 2025, in Laval. Team CB was made up of 67 motivated youth competing in one of the 14 disciplines offered this year. They were accompanied by 22 young adult volunteers, all of whom had been impacted in one way or another by French-language youth events, and who chose to give back generously to their community by taking on the roles of coaches and assistants within Team CB.
In Laval, Team CB shone through its performances, but above all through the team spirit and friendly energy of its members throughout the week. With the goal of having fun and pushing their limits, participants showcased the values of inclusion and diversity within our vibrant Franco-Columbian community.
Finally, the Francophone youth of British Columbia return home with their heads held high and a strong sense of belonging to the Francophonie here. With a total of 11 medals won, Team CB proudly thanks you for this unforgettable week. We are already looking forward to seeing you again at the** next Games, in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 2028.**
