The SAGA

No, you don't have to be a CJFCB member to participate in the SAGA. However, if you want to be able to vote for programming and board members at the Annual General Meeting held during the SAGA, then yes, you do need to be a member. If you're not yet a member, you can apply to do so here (and it's free!) If you take part in a CJFCB event, you automatically become a CJFCB member.

There is a registration fee of $150 to participate in the SAGA. This helps us cover some of the costs of transportation, food, lodging, activities, etc. Our goal is to encourage participation by all youth, and we don't want financial problems to prevent participation. If these costs are in any way an obstacle to your participation, don't hesitate to write to Katie.

Each edition of the SAGA has a different theme! However, you can be sure to take part in a wide range of workshops, conferences and activities, each more interesting than the last. You'll discover an array of tools to inspire you to get involved in your community and make a difference around you. And, of course, there is plenty of time for socializing, bonding and making memories with your fellow participants!

To register for the SAGA, first create your profile on our Members Platform. All the steps are detailed here to help you create an account. Then, in your profile, in the “My Events” section, you can choose to start applying for the SAGA by selecting the correct registration form from the drop-down menu.
