SAGA, THIS YEAR
This year, SAGA will take place from June 25th to 28th at the Mer-et-montagne School in Campbell River.
A full weekend of activities, workshops, discussions, and social gatherings centered on the theme of “belonging.”
- What does it mean to belong to a group or community, and how does that translate into everyday life?
- How does a sense of belonging develop, and what impact does it have on identity?
- How do active involvement and commitment play a role in creating a sense of belonging?
Come find answers to all these questions and have a great time with other youth from across B.C.!

WHAT IS THE SAGA?
SAGA is the Conseil jeunesse’s flagship event where we consult our members on everything related to the CJFCB. On the agenda: enriching discussions, brainstorming sessions, interactive workshops, social evenings, and of course — lots and lots of fun!

THROW BACK ON THE 2025 EDITION
In 2025, participants from all across B.C. gathered from June 26 to 29 on the University of British Columbia campus to take part in the 11th edition of SAGA.
With the theme “CJFCB in Community,” this edition allowed 35 youth to discover the francophone community, meet community organizations, engage in discussions about governance, and take part in numerous consultations to contribute to the CJFCB’s By and For approach. Above all, the weekend was filled with connections, sharing, and unforgettable moments.
